I loved this hotel, with one notable issue. The city-view suite was recommended to me when I asked for a quiet room; the suite was lovely - clean, modern, and comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and well maintained (the sink had some tiny cracks, but the shower caulk was in perfect condition), with an endless supply of very hot water for a relaxing shower or bath. The bed was comfortable, but lacked pillow options and the sheets were scratchy. There was a cucumber and lemon water station outside the elevator bank, which was well maintained and 24-hour. There was no 'lobby' to speak of, just a hall and a room for checking in/out. The staff were really exceptional - they made me feel like they were personally invested in my comfort and went above and beyond for me. The one major issue I had was noise - though I was put in a 'quiet' room, I could clearly hear sirens, beeping, and other street noise at all hours of the night, as well as noise from the suite next door periodically (including a loud door boom when they entered or exited). The suite had a white noise machine on a nightstand and earplugs in the bathroom - these turned out to be necessary for me to sleep and though I hate earplugs, they worked well and were comfortable. If you are a sound sleeper and don't need a very quiet room (or are okay sleeping with ear plugs), I highly recommend this hotel.

We visited with our two kiddos- ages 3 and 6 and were in the 2 bedroom room which was plenty spacious for us, including a desk and table with a few chairs. The bathroom was large and had a nice tub for the kiddos to take a bath in each night and beds were comfy for Mom and Dad! The rooms were clean, the location was close to everything but- the PEOPLE that work there are amazing. Everyone from the bellman to the front desk and the GM were there to make our stay as comfortable and great as it could be. We had a mishap with our 3 year old the first day of our visit that ended with a few stitches in the ER (which did NOT happen at the hotel) and when Siobhan (GM) found out she put a few NYC goodies in the room which certainly was a nice touch and made the girls smile. Along with that she helped us out with a late checkout in the event our littlest needed to rest on our last day there which came in clutch with a late flight. To top it off- the front desk (whose names are slipping!) sent my girls off with NYC cookies as we were wheeling our suitcases out. Above and beyond. When we feel ready to brave the city again we will for sure be back for another visit!

The Bryant Park Hotel was perfectly located near the theatre district, subways, great shopping and restaurants. It is housed in a beautiful landmark building. The moment we arrived at the front desk we knew we selected the right hotel. We were greeted by Josephine who aside from being exceptionally professional was so helpful and kind and took excellent care of us during our short stay. She checked us in to our room early and even sent up a bottle of champagne in celebration of my birthday. Service all the way around was excellent. There is an award winning Japanese restaurant in the hotel, a cocktail bar and a fitness center as well. The rooms were very spacious and clean and the beds & pillows were super comfy. Room rates were not in the stratosphere like many NYC hotels. Our room on the 7th floor was facing 40th street and had a fabulous view of Bryant Park. We really had a fantastic experience and absolutely plan to return. Highly recommend this hotel!!

I quite liked the bar and the terrace although drinks a little pricey. Nice to hang out in the study in morning after breakfast.

Large windows and it was incredible to look out and see everyone milling around the shops! We asked for early check in and the staff were so accommodating. Great to have Koi right there - always a great meal. And the location makes it so easy to navigate to any part of NYC you want. Will definitely stay there again!
