Absolutely lovely hotel to stay at! All of the rooms in the hotel are individually painted by different artists, so you are sure to have a one of a kind, memorable experience. You get to choose your room to a certain degree, so you can pick the kind of vibe you are comfy with. The hotel is situated in the Kips Bay area, which is full of great sights, small parks and square, amazing food places and deli’s. Plus, it is very close to many touristy spots (we’re talking less than 20 minutes to get to the Empire State Building) The staff are super lovely and helpful. Depending on the time of year, you can even get a tour of the other rooms in the hotel. Highly recommend a stay here if you’re an open-minded, artsy individual

Feb 06, 2025 · Robertas SkipitisVery vintage! Has a cool vibe to the place. Every floor has a well defined theme. Rooms are great for the price you pay. It’s centrally located close to Madison square park. Has a water fountain and coffee in the lobby. Tidy rooms and good mattresses. No elevators. Friendly kitty in the lobby also adds to its charm!
Feb 20, 2025 · Rajeswari DasLove this place. Very homey, quirky, place. Every room is different. Very clean, but not fancy. The location is perfect, lots of restaurants right there. The staff is very friendly. I will stay there overtime I'm in NYC
Jan 08, 2025 · Joseph GulickWe arrive at the hotel, we open the front door and immediately we feel that a very special atmosphere is hidden here. A cuddly cat is lying in front of the first floor corridor, next to the reception area filled with all kinds of artistic oddities, he seems to be serenely surveying the place. A more than cool manager gives us the key to our room which is located on the second floor, we go there without waiting. The more I walk towards our room, the more I discover all kinds of paintings, each more intriguing than the other, and that's when I realize that this hotel can be visited unlike any other hotel I've ever been to. sleeping until now. This place which gives off a completely perched atmosphere cannot in any way suit anyone who is looking for great comfort or who is obsessed with the slightest dirt. In corridors worthy of squats, in those pharaonic ones, passing by common showers with door handles which hold by the operation of the Holy Spirit I already know that I will experience a unique and unforgettable moment between these four walls 😃
Oct 04, 2024 · Vince 22I had a horrible experience at this hotel. Long story short I had to arrive after check in time and had made prior arrangements and they ended up not being available when I arrived to let me into the building. A kind stranger let me in who had the code. But I had to wait 20 minutes after ringing the door bell. Also when I finally arrived there was no one there to give me a key to the room. I slept on a chair in one of the offices until they opened up the main office. And the owner was some man with dark features that argued with me and was very rude and insensitive about my experience and safety being endangered especially as a woman. I was very disappointed and upset. It took a while for the owner to apologize for my major inconvenience. Bad customer service. The hotel itself is definitely what you pay for.
