Club Quarters Hotel Times Square, New York

Even though this hotel is near the busy Times Square, it's very quiet and the street is not super busy. Our double room was VERY small by American standards, but it was clean and comfortable. We stayed during Christmas and enjoyed the lobby decorations and complimentary tea and coffee around the clock. Beautiful area to sip tea, very old world style.

The staff were amazing from start to finish, nothing was a problem, directions, no problem, places to eat given gladly. Situated not far Times Square it was the perfect spot to stay. This hotel was clean, tidy and comfortable. The bed was comfy, you could have the room serviced upon asking, this was never a problem. I would recommend here for sure.

Stayed one night for a 40th birthday celebration! Receptionist was so sweet and accommodating! Location was perfect to everything we needed! Room is good size for a short stay had everything we needed! They even left us a surprise in our room when we told them we were celebrating! Would stay again! Thank you for wonderful Hospitality and feeling like money well spent!

1) I don’t work at the hotel, I am on vacation. Yet, I had to come to the hotel and make my own room keys. There was staff at the counter when I checked in; but refused to make the keys. 2) I was taking the elevator up and the door was stuck shut, it wouldn’t open. We were stuck in the elevator until it went to a different floor and the door opened. We tried pressing the open doors button. Kept pressing the floor number button, due to security, you only have access to the floor your room is on. Absolutely unacceptable on so many levels! 3) the toilet wouldn’t flush toilet paper. Toilet paper! No solids. 4) the shower was freezing, the first two minutes were hot. The temperature fluctuated between cold and freezing, as did the water pressure. There were many points the water shut off completely for about three seconds and turned back on. 5) can’t tell the last time the carpet has actually been cleaned. I paid almost $500 a night to stay in a closet with a toilet and shower that didn’t serve it’s only purpose for being created.

PERFECT location if you want to be steps away from Times Square and/or Hell’s Kitchen!!! Restaurants and authentic pizza right across the street!!! We also walked to Central Park, Rockefeller Center, Radio City, Broadway, etc... The furthest was Central Park, but less than 30 min. away. My friend and I were surprised that there was no charge for a cot, microwave, or fridge. There’s also an Nespresso machine and the staff will provide more pods when you ask. They also had a water filter machine with empty water bottles that you can fill.. Great plus! I was worried about the New York version of hospitality, but the staff were all FANTASTIC and SUPER FRIENDLY! Shout out to Kelly, Ricardo, and Xavier for politely answering our many, many questions!
