Won't stay here again. Very loud. A lot of screaming babies. The rooms are HOT AS HELL! Turning the heat off did nothing. We had to turn on the a/c to cool the room down! Shower water pressure is so low felt like you were being spit on. I've visited some really nice micro hotels...this isn't one of them.

I am the kind of person does not write reviews because I’m too lazy, but you have to either be a an extremely great experience or an awful experience for me to write this. Unfortunately, for this case, this was an awful experience. I was in a rush, so I wasn’t able to really check out the room when I checked in. Later that night, I came back and noticed how dirty the room was. I’m talking stains on the carpet and chair that I could not get out. I called the front desk and they told me to speak to the manager in the morning. When I spoke to manager, he was extremely rude. As someone who has worked in the service industry I understand that there are people who can expect the most and I knew this place wasn’t going to be an experience like I would at the four seasons so I was reasonable. However, the manager was extremely rude when I mentioned the stains, saying how it was because of renovations and stains from the paint. That’s a fair argument however as a business, you are providing a service to other people and if your carpets are dirty, it’s not unreasonable to switch out the carpet since they got dirty during “renovations.” He was extremely rude, asking him what I want from him and how much of a discount and with a loud voice saying “tell me how much discount you want I give it to you.” Personally, I should’ve said 100% because of how loud he was getting and I couldn’t move rooms really since I was on a time crunch. I didn’t know what he wanted me to say when he asked how much would discount do I want so I just said whatever you think is reasonable and he goes 20 bucks. While I appreciate the low effort, what is 20 bucks gonna do especially in New York City that can barely get you a meal. He was so rude and because I am not want to start arguments I didn’t want to add fire to the flame but the way he was talking we might as well have been arguing. Like I said as a business, you’re providing a service and it should be to a standard. Besides my experience with the manager, the cleaning ladies were so kind and I had asked them if there’s anyway that they can remove the stain and they said no because it’s paint. I noticed that the day after I complained my chair got switched out to a wooden chair, but I still have pictures in case he was trying to cover that up. The room was clean besides the stains and there’s a common room where you get breakfast from 7a-9a (I never tried), but you also have the chance to hang out and eat with your friends there, which is what me and my friends did one night. There was plates and utensils to use. Overall, my experience was subpar here because of how the manager acted towards me, but if you’re looking just for a decently priced place to crash this isn’t a terrible option. I would just recommend looking for others because in New York City there’s an abundance of other options with kinder managers.

I stayed in room 306 and had a great experience. The front desk was kind enough to offer a complimentary upgrade from a queen to a king room. I stayed for almost two weeks and noticed that their breakfast has improved a lot. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Highly recommend

It was horrible. We came with my friend at midnight to check in all tired (tourists in NY city), and our room wasn't ready. It was dirty after the previous customers. We asked to change it, they gave us another one, but there were cockroaches EVERYWHERE!!! They don't have water cooler. We also woke up because somebody was trying to get inside our room (maybe it was a cleaner). The breakfast was ok, they had lots of snacks. But I wouldn't stay there again.

Bring your ear plugs if you want to sleep. The hotel faces the a six lane highway (Brooklyn Queens Expressway) with traffic roaring 24/7. I asked for a room on the backside of the hotel as I checked in. When I got the key, I asked which side of the hotel the room is in. They said backside. These were lies. I got a room on the front side of the hotel, the side facing the highway. The hotel advertises breakfast. The hotel staff tells you you will have breakfast as you check-in. These are lies. There is no breakfast.
