What a lovely hotel. Can’t believe that we were staying in a hundred-year building. I got a corner suite and really enjoyed the decorations in the room and the amazing view of the city. The staffs were friendly and helped a lot. The only complaint I have is the bathtub could be maintained better. Will definitely come back.

May 17, 2025 · H YWhat a wonderful hotel in such an amazing city! The staff here is second to none! The housemen are so great - it made our experience with our group the absolute best! Executive Chef, Leah is so great! We had some of the best food we've ever experienced at a hotel!
May 01, 2025 · DONNA LEVESQUECame here for many events in the ballroom when I was in college during the Biltmore days and was so happy to spend my wedding night there last weekend. The charm of the place is just as kitschy and vintage as ever, lots of the old deco stuff is still there and the lobby and rooms are right up my alley. It doesn’t look minimal and corporate at all. Still feels a little haunted like it used to. Location is dead center downtown, near everything worth seeing and eating in town. On site cafe had surprisingly excellent coffee, didn’t have a chance to try the food but I live nearby and the coffee made such an impression that I definitely will. Couple small things: check in is a little late at 3-4pm and they seem to stick to it. Bathroom is open so the shower drains into the floor and makes the whole bathroom wet. Parking isn’t cheap next door and they don’t validate unfortunately. These are ultimately not big issues when the place just feels so cool. I sometimes come in just to walk around. Captures the off kilter unique spirit of providence in a way that’s always been special to me.
Feb 10, 2025 · Nick DeSimoneThis hotel is historic, so the lobby has an old historic charm. The rooms have been decorated in a quirky style and the staff was generally nice. But the building is old, which means there was no A/C because they hadn't turned off the heat and the building could only do one or the other, and the windows let in all the noise from the bus transfer area. In addition, the bathroom in the room smelled like sewer pipes. The staff couldn't seem do much about it. I would not stay here again.
Apr 16, 2025 · Jennifer LucasWhile this hotel and its historic charm are beautiful, we were disappointed with the lack of service and hospitality. We stayed for two nights for our wedding and planned to take photos in the lobby. Apparently, the hotel has changed its policy and no longer allows professional photos in their space without a prior booking and a $500 fee. I did not see this notice clearly posted on their website and this turned into a unfortunate surprise on our wedding day. Once I was informed of this policy I simply told the front desk it was no problem and to charge my card on file. They gave me such a hard time and said I needed to go through the sales department prior. Keep in mind, the space we wanted to use was available and we were willing to pay but the staff was refusing to make the sale. After much time wasted, my mother ended up convincing the staff to make the sale and allow us to photograph. For a higher end hotel in the city, the fact that we booked a suite for two nights, and that I was standing there in my wedding gown and received zero empathy was shockingly disappointing. This hotel should strongly consider having posted notices throughout the space making this bizarre policy clear. In addition to this lack of hospitality, the premiere suite did not live up to the name. The kitchenette provided no glassware and overall the room was lacking amenities. Finally, the parking garage did not connect to the hotel which made for more hassle in the rain in wind. This combined with the after hours access issue (despite having the room barcode pass), we were unable to use the elevator to get to our car and had to walk up the ramp. What a nightmare from an accessibility perspective! Again, beautiful space but many bumps in the road and lack of hospitality.
