Jun 07, 2025 · Mechelle ChambersOverall cleanliness was average. One elevator serviced entire hotel while several events were happening. Guests waited for elevator 3-5minutes. No one should wait on an elevator long as you would a bus. Items such as hangers, towels and bedding which should have been in the room already had to be requested several times. The daily breakfast was the same every day. No variety and it wasn't good.
May 28, 2025 · Donna EdwardsUpon our arrival at the Homewood by Hilton the check in went great! We did have to change rooms during our 4 night stay because the first room the heater was not functioning correctly, it was loud and it turned on and off every 5 minutes throughout the first two nights. Once moved to another room, we did notice a few burns in the carpet, the entry door had two chunks of wood missing out of it on the interior part of door and when we ran the shower the hot water pipes were very loud with a knocking sound that was very disturbing. As far as the staff, the hotel front desk were very kind and helpful and tried their best to accommodate our stay. The hotel was fully booked, so we were very patient with the staff. The staff that worked in the dining area were very kind and we were pleased with the complementary breakfast . The dining area was also very clean. The parking attendants were very kind and helpful. The maintenance technicians did their best as well and were also very kind. Again, the staff were all amazing people and made use feel very welcomed. Some updates to the rooms are a necessity. We would like to acknowledge Diamond, the front desk service representative, she went above and beyond to make sure we would remain loyal to the Hilton hotel family, if it were not for her kindness, respect, compassion and understanding, we would have moved on! Diamond thank you for being a wonderful human being and an upstanding employee with Hilton!
Feb 18, 2025 · Ralph EwingThe staff at the Homewood by the Convention center were nothing but the absolute best. We arrived well before our check in time, and were able to store our luggage early and take advantage of the breakfast! Diamond at the front desk was 10/10, and gave me and my friends some of the best service we have ever had at a hotel. Her and the rest of the staff were all so polite, and helpful, which made our trip even more enjoyable. The team here at the Homewood Suites does it right, and we will definitely be staying here again on our next visit!
Apr 22, 2025 · Thomas ConnollyThis hotel is in desperate need of renovation, Hilton should be ashamed to call it one of theirs. Only one of the two elevators worked, the ac units in the room didn't work correctly, the shower head was broken and sprayed all over, the carpets were worn and dirty. When we got there we had to ask for hand soap and shower gel. When the cleaner came through they left us without any toilet paper, a bath mat and wash cloths. The closeness to the convention center was good, everything else was below par.
