Jan 12, 2023 · VAIBHAV PATILThe web site is manage by a third party and imposible to contact them. Its easy to get your money but not to get your deposit back or to talk to someone that cares about you!! It was not a cheap hotel but we stayed there because it was a decent price compared to others (doesn’t mean it was cheap) We stayed for 4 nights and 5 days. Our room was only tidied up once. Even that we said directly to room service that it was ready and needed to be cleaned. They just said that day that it was already too late. We thought… ok, maybe. But the next days we were out earlier and it was not done any other day. It turned out to be more expensive even, since our deposit was never given back to us. We could never find a way to contact them directly for asking about it. Where we could contact, they responded that it was not with them… that’s it.
May 20, 2023 · victor duarteI recently stayed at the Red Lion Inn & Suites Brooklyn and the experience was atrocious. The only reason I am even giving it a one star is because of the service provided by Scarlett at the front desk. She did everything she could to make our experience better. Unfortunately for us, she was only working the morning we arrived. Let's begin with the review. The location of the hotel is in one of the most graffiti filled neighborhoods in the area, equipped with all of the amenities, graffiti covered buildings, broke down cars, and giant empty lots that you would not be able to pay people to comfortably walk through. The hotel looks like it may be the only building without graffiti on it. Which would be a bonus, if the environment didn't scream of urban 90's movies where someone is bound to be shot before the first half. The hotel's interior is INCREDIBLY small. Even the lobby leaves something to be desired, with people's bags not having somewhere to be stored, stacked high next to the single elevator. The hotel itself was clean enough. The rooms were a strange mix between attempting to be minimalist with whites, white oak, and contrasting with bright reds. They were mostly clean, with small things like the A/C possibly being older than I am (31) and having parts fall off of it. The Direct TV they offered couldn't hold connection for longer than 15 minutes without lagging or completely disconnecting. The room size itself must have been inspired by the word minimalist because I have never stayed in a room so small. The bathroom in the rooms however was beautiful. The shower pressure was fine, the water was perfect, and the amenities offered were all very nice quality. Unfortunately, that may be the last high point of this hotel. Never have I been to a hotel that did not have extra blankets or pillows available. Somehow, they were out of both. There are only 15 parking spaces...15!!! When I called the weeks prior to the stay, which I never got directly to the hotel since apparently the phone lines fully go down sometimes (quote from the staff), I spoke with the primary office number and was told that they had ample parking and I shouldn't worry about calling ahead. Fun Fact : I was told if I had called ahead, they could have held me one of their precious spots. I was also informed by another staff member that sometimes if they overbook, the staff is forced to park on the street. They don't even have enough parking spaces for their staff. And lastly, the breakfast. There was one person attending to the breakfast, so mostly everything was out. She was doing her best to restock, but it was an impossible task for her. They were out of many things before the breakfast was over. The Juice dispenser tasted like they had been intentionally watering down the juices, making them all unbearable to drink. The folded eggs with cheese were surprisingly good, while the Waffle batter dispenser was half broken and falling apart. There also was no measuring cup, nor extra cups, so everyone shared the same cup while pouring, leading to possible cross contamination and health code violations. I will also say the pastries they served were excellent. I had the mini Boston Cream Donut. It surprised me with flavor and freshness. Overall, the experience was horrid. We had to find other places to park, leading to a mile walk to the hotel (I refuse to park on the street with cars covered in graffiti), we were able to get PART of a breakfast, we weren't able to obtain any extras for the room, nor could we check in early, and finally, the walk to the hotel at night looked like the previews to a horror movie. If not for Scarlett, the eggs, and the mini donut, this place would receive 0 stars. I would recommend not only not staying here, but staying as far away from here as possible.

Apr 19, 2022 · LESDAVIES1000The staff are friendly and helpful. Even though there was a glitch in the computer on the day I checked in, the staff still managed to check me in! I asked for a suggestion for a local pizza place and got a very good suggestion. The room is clean and well furnished. There could be more parking at this location, however, I was able to get a spot. The place is affordable given the location, so I would recommend it!
