Stayed at the hotel for one evening on a business trip. The hotel is very close to a subway station so you can easily walk to the hotel. I checked in during evening hours and I liked that the front entrance was easy to access and well lit - after a certain time only guests with a room key can enter the front doors. The bar/restaurant have last kitchen call at 9:45 pm so I missed eating in the lobby restaurant. Easy to check in and my Hilton status was acknowledged. There is a $35 hotel fee added to bill (even though my room was prepaid). The hotel was quiet in the evening on a Friday night. The hotel lobby notes recent and ongoing renovation and it is noticeable in the entrance to the rooms. The rooms are a bit older but clean. The lighting is a little dim even when I turned on all of the lamps in the room. Everything worked in the room and the shower had great water pressure. The AC/heating does hum when turning on and off. I had breakfast in the lobby restaurant which offers a buffet for $30 and a la carte options.

Feb 11, 2025 · Christina CallowayEverything about this hotel was great, except the fees that they charge you at the end. We were told that we have to pay an extra 35$ for each night, but we could use it as credit in the hotel. We could eat breakfast, the buffet was 30$, or dinner, which was great by the way. The staff at the bar were perfect, specially the young lady called Valeria if I’m not mistaken. The food was super delicious. Unfortunately, at the end there were a lot of taxes added to the final bill, although we have already payed the taxes at the restaurant or even while reserving the hotel. The lady at the front desk told us that’s new york taxes and has nothing to do with them. I just want to let others know about the extra charges. But the room was clean, we had everyday housekeeping. The metro station was just 2 minutes walk away.
Jan 03, 2025 · Saba NajafiService sub par compared to other properties. I did not get welcomed as a Diamond member. When asked if I could get a water the front desk tried to charge it, I mentioned i am a Diamond member I usually get a water upon request. She told me that is only at check in. Then told me to go to the Executive lounge, (just the breakfast area) and still kind of dirty and not really stocked with anything no water. First hilton who did not provide me a water upon request and the front desk did not want to be bothered with assisting me. Room was clean and nice, bathroom nice. Another front desk person could not recommend any local favorite restaurants or bars. He just seemed like he wanted to converse. I asked any local recommendations for food, where locals usually go or just place unique to the area, and he didn't know. BTW I recommend the Holle Nickle on Alantic , few blocks away.
Mar 15, 2025 · Travis SmithComplained about mice during during my stay that woke me up in the middle of the night during the 3rd night of the my 4 night stay in room #668. There was no open food containers, just gift wrapped chocolates in a plastic bag left on top the desk next to the TV. Flashed a light to see it scurry away a couples times, until left me along for the rest of the night. Spoke to front desk 3 times the following day, once in the morning, once at 6:30, and evening at 11:30pm. The only person that had the common sense to offer me a different room was the last person at 11:30pm. The first two just took down the complaint and advised that an engineer will check the room and to expect a call from the manager, on the day of and or the following day. Each time I followed up, was told that there is no record of an engineer checking the room and that management will reach out. A few days past check-out and I have yet to be reached. I understood that mice in the winter in NYC can be inevitable, even if its on the top floor corner room, but I was given such low follow-up or seriousness of the situation that made me extremely disappointed in the whole experience, beyond being woken up by mice multiple times and having been too exhausted to make a scene in the middle of the night. The hotel gym was out of service the entire stay, even though I was advised it will be open the next day following check in. No remedy or other options provided. I've stayed at this property 20+ satisfied nights through out the past. Unless the hotel makes right of the situation, I am forced to look for other options moving forward.
Feb 17, 2025 · Ryo TomiMy stay at the Hilton Brooklyn New York was fabulous! Location: great! 3 minute walk to multiple Subway entrances, close to coffee shops, and restaurants. Rooms: The room did have a bit of wear and tear, but was clean and didn’t have any sort of smell. The linens were fresh and for my anxious travelers the mattresses had a protective zipper cover. The bed was also super comfy Service: Fantastic! Had a meal in the hotel bar and it was delicious. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
