I had a stay-cation here last weekend and it was really nice. Upon arriving to the hotel we were checked in by such a lovely woman named Melissa. She has such a lovely personality and very welcoming. She reminded us about the $30 drink credit, which we used immediately after checking in at the bar. The bar tender was also really nice too and chatted us up a bit while making the drinks, gave some really nice restaurant recommendations in the area. Since we were in DT BK smack in the middle of everything, we had a bunch of food options nearby. The room was exactly what we needed, the beds were so comfy and the windows had black out curtains which made sleeping in the next day all the better. Only catch is they didn't have room service which was a bit of a bummer but again, we had everything we wanted nearby.

Apr 10, 2025 · YaniGreat location with unbelievably wonderful, helpful, friendly, and kind staff. Beverly was so warm and generous with her time, her consideration and attention to detail was truly a stand out feature. Another staff member, Nelson, went out of his way to help my husband and me. He was a wealth of information, AND looked for our car hire outside in the cold so we could stay inside in the warmth. Ten stars if I could. The rooms were perfectly adequate, sure they could use some updates but all the outlets worked and weren’t loose, the bed was comfortable, and the shower and water pressure were great. We will stay again soon!
Feb 19, 2025 · Sarah SnootsAmazing location with easy subway access that gets you anywhere you want to go in the city. Staff was really nice, thought it was annoying at first that we were charged a resort fee (or something like that) but they explained that it’s $35 and you get $30 of free food at their restaurant which we used for breakfast. Room was clean and we lucked out on getting a nice view.
Feb 14, 2025 · Benj DrazenI had an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience at the Marriott Brooklyn Bridge due to a persistent issue with my room’s air conditioning. It was completely broken, causing the temperature to rise to an uncomfortable 78 degrees. While that was already an issue, what truly made my stay unbearable was the way I was treated by the staff—Sharron at the front desk and Victor from engineering. Instead of showing any concern or empathy, both of them gave me an extreme amount of attitude. Rather than acknowledging the problem and working toward a solution, they were dismissive and belittling, making me feel as though I was the issue instead of the broken AC. I had been dealing with this problem daily during my stay, so I knew exactly what needed to be done. But when I asked for a specific solution, I was met with condescending remarks like, "You don’t know what you’re talking about." The most infuriating part? They later admitted they had to do exactly what I had suggested in the first place. To make matters worse, this all unfolded at 3:30 AM, waking me up in the middle of the night. As a woman traveling alone, I was extremely uncomfortable letting a rude, dismissive man into my room at that hour. The lack of professionalism and basic courtesy from both Sharron and Victor made an already frustrating situation feel unsafe. A little empathy, an apology, or even just basic customer service could have gone a long way. Instead, I was treated with condescension and disregard, leaving me not only uncomfortable in my room but also uncomfortable in the hotel itself.
Mar 16, 2025 · Michelle MockI had an exceptional experience at the New York Marriott at the Brooklyn Bridge, thanks to the outstanding service and hospitality of Jeff Carter. I was having one of the worst days when I arrived, but Jeff went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for me and my family. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine care completely turned our experience around. From the moment we interacted, it was clear that he was dedicated to making our stay exceptional. It’s rare to find someone so committed to providing excellent service, and Jeff truly stood out. The hotel itself is fantastic, with great amenities and a prime location, but the service we received from Jeff made it unforgettable. Thank you, Jeff, for your remarkable hospitality—your efforts did not go unnoticed!
