Hampton Inn Brooklyn/Downtown

Genuinely perplexed by these good reviews. Every room at this hotel faces an incredibly busy intersection where frustrated drivers sit on the horns even at 1 or 2am. Good luck sleeping. Also the rooftop bar photos are an event space. There is a windowless bar at the back of the hotel if that’s your vibe. The breakfast area isn’t big enough for weekend crowds so I can’t comment on the food.

This is a great Hilton property with accommodating and attentive staff. I’ve even been greeted with hand written letters and welcoming gifts (snacks) in my room acknowledging my loyalty and the managements appreciation for my recurring business. The rooms are as expected for a Hampton Inn property in New York City- rooms are on the smaller end but plenty of space in the bathrooms. The location of the hotel is perfect for my needs, however may leave others with a ~10 minute walk for a train station to reach more popular NYC destinations. (You can reach most places adequately by subway from here however.) The breakfast is good relative to other Hampton Inns I’ve stayed. Nonetheless, this property is one of the most consistent in service and cleanliness. I only wish to see this level of service remain as I continue to plan future travels out of this hotel.

We had an Absolutely wonderful experience here! From the communication I received before our stay until our checkout, everything was perfect. Every single staff member we came in contact with was friendly, professional, kind, and helpful- from the front desk to the servers at breakfast and the cleaning crew. The room was clean, comfortable, and well decorated. We had plenty of amenities in the room. The gym was outstanding as well. Very spacious with lots of updated equipment. My only suggestion would be to make breakfast with more variety, especially for those with food allergies. Just about everything had dairy in it. They did go out of their way to get dairy free milk for us though, which I greatly appreciated.

I stayed here over the New Year holiday, and my experience was fantastic. The service was truly outstanding—the front desk staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. I misplaced my key card, and they provided a new one without any charge. They also allowed us to check in 30 minutes early, which was a pleasant surprise. The hotel offers free breakfast and provides 24-hour access to coffee, hot chocolate, and tea, which was a nice touch. The room was comfortable and well-maintained, though the towels had a slight odor. However, it wasn’t a major issue. The location is also very convenient—it’s within walking distance of the subway station, and there’s a convenience store nearby. A little farther away, there’s even a Target for any shopping needs. Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely recommend this place!

I enjoyed my stay here. Rooms were cleaned each day. The staff were really nice and helpful. Now I didn’t touch the breakfast now cause that didn’t look appealing but other than that it was good for the short trip I had.
