Ace Hotel Brooklyn

The Ace is becoming our home-away-from-home in Brooklyn after 5-6 stays here over the past few years. Very trendy without being over the top. Staff is always friendly and helpful. While the bar and lobby can be a little too happening on Friday and Saturday nights, the bar is a nice spot for a night cap or afternoon imbibe. The restaurant has always been nice but closed on our most recent stay for renovation (looking forward to seeing what's there on our next visit). Location is pretty central to several Brooklyn spots plus across the street from an A/C subway stop for a quick ride into Manhattan.

I rarely write reviews, but I wanted to do so for this fine establishment. Initially, I was pleasantly surprised that my room was ready at 11 am when my wife, our service dog, and I arrived. We were going to leave our bags at the bell desk, but to get into our room early was very nice. The staff were very, very friendly and considerate. The room was clean and adequate, but the decor and vibe were very impressive. My wife loved it. The restaurant was going through some changes, I think, but the homemade yogurt available in the lobby resto and the next-door bagel shop was second to none. I would definitely come back here and recommend it to all!!

Lovely stay! We were here for two nights visiting family and we’re already talking about how this will be our new go-to. This hotel is located near downtown Brooklyn so if you are a family from the suburbs it may seem rough around the side streets, but if you’re used to cities it shouldn’t be a problem. We never felt unsafe walking around at any hour. Very convenient to City Point and Dekalb Market Hall as well multiple subway lines. The hotel itself is very trendy with a huge lobby and lots of places to relax with family and friends. Every staff member we interacted with were lovely, helpful and personable. Also shout out to management for allowing staff to showcase personal style at work! I was so inspired by their outfits! The room was spacious, quiet and very well-appointed. Will be back.

My wife and I recently celebrated our wedding anniversary here and it was terrific. From the moment we stepped through the door we were greeted by a great staff. The atmosphere was cool and the rooms were very nice and spacious. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable. Every member of the staff we encountered during our stay were friendly and helpful. We cannot recommend this hotel enough.
