I recently stayed at the Renaissance Midtown NYC, and the highlight of my experience was, without a doubt, the incredible bed! The mattress, pillows, and linens were absolutely perfect—one of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve ever slept in. The staff was extremely kind and attentive, always making sure everything was just right. The hotel is full of thoughtful details that truly enhance the experience, from the stylish decor to the little touches that make you feel welcome. The bathroom is modern and high-end, with a sleek design and top-quality fixtures. Everything in the room felt new and spotless. While the rooms aren’t particularly large, they are well-designed, comfortable, and clean. The location is also a big plus, with great subway access nearby, making it easy to get around the city. Overall, I’d say it’s a great value for the quality—a stylish, comfortable stay in the heart of NYC. I would definitely return!

Mar 24, 2025 · Luis Gustavo CardosoLocation- around the block from Penn Station. Very easy to get to. Room was fine, bed was comfortable but the pillows are awful. Some people complained about the elevator- I loved the concept. There's a screen on the outside where you press your floor. If multiple people are waiting, the elevator groups floors together into individual elevators so you don't have to stop on 17 different floors. Restaurant and bar on 5th floor(rooftop bar) was nice food was really good- however the staff on Friday night was slow and I was 1 of maybe 4 tables so that's weird. Some cons: The AC only goes to 68 degrees. I run hot so I had to have the window open but then I have to hear sirens etc. Bring a fan if you like it cold. Room walls are thin so you can hear what's happening in the next room( not bad for me at night but I can see how it could be an issue). No bugs! We THOROUGHLY checked our room and nothing. We bring bed bug spray everywhere we go just in case but our room was fine. Would go back - it was good for what I needed. A nice crowd mix at the bar. Also, someone complained about the shower being exposed, but there is a curtain/shade...just pull it down!
Mar 24, 2025 · G LANGVery classy hotel in a great location in midtown. The lobby and bar area is very sexy and they had complimentary drinks when we arrived on Friday night. The rooms were very clean. They're not huge but I didn't expect that. Loved the glass showers. The elevator is very secure and took some getting used to. You can't go to any floor you want to. Great views of the city. Valet parking was a nice touch but be advised it could take a while to get your car when checking out.
Feb 11, 2025 · Colleen W-KThis hotel is conveniently located right around the corner of MSG, Penn Station, and a couple minutes from Times Square. Employees are very friendly and helpful. Common areas are clean and are absolutely beautiful. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Loved the view from our particular room. They do a complimentary cocktail at the bar, first come first serve. It is very lovely if you are able to grab one on time! Will definitely be staying here again. Now for my standard comments. Location is very clean and well-kept. Easy access in front for ride share as well.
