EVEN Hotel New York - Times Square South by IHG

Best room rate in town. Terrific location. Quiet, too. I loved that there were only 6 rooms on our floor and our little hallway was pretty private. We paid a little extra for a view and it was worth it! Only complaint is the "mood lighting" built into the headboard would not stay turned off. It was like a disco at 3am when they turned themselves on in Flashing mode. Bring a sleep mask.

FINALLY found a convenient, comfortable, well-designed, affordable hotel option! Room was above average in size, comfy bed, quiet and dark, great shower and toiletries provided, and a mini in-room “gym.” Staff was super friendly and helpful. All this for $200-ish a night; I almost forgot I was in NYC. Bravo, EVEN!

Even Hotel was the perfect option for a NY weekend trip with my teenage daughter. The 2 queen size room was large, clean and had very high ceilings (loft style). The rooms are nicely done with a warm modern feel. We didn't eat there, but was in close walking distance to great food options. We appreciated the complimentary refreshing infused water in the lobby for all guests. You can't beat the location if you plan to shop on 34th. The service was efficient when checking in, and the staff were genuinely pleasant. We will be back!

Arrival: Wonderful front desk team [thank you Shayla] gets you checked in, explains all the hotel features. Hotel is only ~10 years old and has been either renovated or very well taken care of. It’s modern, functional, and clean. Room: small but bright, sunny and quiet. Small’s common in Manhattan, but bright, sunny and quiet are all a treat. Windows open for fresh air, and have blackout shades if you need to catch some daytime sleep. Thoughtful touches: a sanitized yoga mat, foam roll, and block, plus a stretching station with bands for a reasonable workout, as well as a complimentary water bottle and Clorox wipes. Keurig coffee and tea maker with mini-fridge. They top it off with free laundry service for your workout or running gear. Closet was small but functional with a full-sized room safe. HVAC worked well but was loud. Breakfast was included in our rate. Service was excellent [thanks Xavier] and the food good. Free internet was good not spectacular. 10 Mbps down/9 up and reliable. Location: a few blocks from a lot of don’t-miss attractions including Hudson Yards, The High Line, The Shed, and The Edge. We had a great time exploring the neighborhood and I’d highly recommend walking the High Line south from 30th Street Gym: Surprisingly large for a small hotel, and fully equipped with LifeCycle and Peloton bikes. Checkout: fast and seamless. Bill was accurate. We’ll return.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Even Hotel in New York, and I was genuinely impressed. While the entrance was modest and unassuming, stepping inside revealed a hotel that exceeded my expectations. The rooms were impeccably clean, well-appointed, and offered a beautiful view of the city skyline that added to the experience. One of the standout aspects of my stay was the exceptional service. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, attentive, and eager to assist with any request or question I had. Their hospitality truly made me feel welcomed and valued as a guest. The location of the hotel was another significant advantage. It was perfectly situated for easy access to some of New York’s most iconic spots. Times Square was just a short walk away, Macy’s was close by for those looking to shop, and Madison Square Garden was a mere 4-minute walk, making it ideal for anyone attending events or concerts. Additionally, it was close to Joe’s Pizza, one of the top-rated pizza places, perfect for grabbing a slice. Overall, the Even Hotel provided an excellent balance of comfort, convenience, and top-notch service. I highly recommend it to anyone planning a visit to New York City! It’s a hidden gem that deserves recognition!
