Exceptional Stay at DoubleTree by Hilton New York Times Square West! My recent visit to the DoubleTree by Hilton New York Times Square West was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the hotel's prime location, just steps away from the bustling heart of Times Square and Broadway. The staff's warm welcome, complete with their signature chocolate chip cookie, set the tone for an outstanding experience. The front desk team, particularly Carlos and Matthew, went above and beyond with their personalized service and friendly demeanor. My room was immaculately clean and well-appointed, featuring a comfortable Sweet Dreams bed, a 40-inch HDTV, and a well-equipped workspace. The blackout curtains ensured a peaceful night's sleep, despite the city's constant energy. The hotel's amenities were top-notch. The fitness center was perfect for maintaining my workout routine, and the rooftop bar offered breathtaking views of the Manhattan skyline. The on-site restaurant, Magnolia, served delicious American favorites throughout the day. What truly sets this hotel apart is its combination of comfort, convenience, and exceptional service. Its proximity to iconic attractions like Rockefeller Center and Madison Square Garden made exploring the city a breeze. Overall, the DoubleTree by Hilton New York Times Square West provided an unforgettable New York City experience. I highly recommend it for both business and leisure travelers looking for a stylish, comfortable, and centrally-located hotel in the heart of Manhattan.

Room is great. Small but standard for NYC. Staff has been great and elevators weren’t a long wait. My only issue is that I can hear every word my neighbors are saying and they don’t seem to be talking loud. And the walls shake when people let the weight of the doors slam. Definitely using my earplugs tonight. Update: night was fairly quiet but I did sleep with my ear plugs in. I’m on the back side and still head traffic noise too. But I think any hotel in Times Square would be this way.

Great hotel in the Times Square area of NY. Close but far enough away so we got a good night's sleep. We asked for a room higher up so we wouldn't get as much street noise. We were allocated rooms on the 27th floor which was perfect and an absolute bonus that we had stunning views from our room too. Carlos the concierge was amazing so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable helpful made our stay there even better. Roof top bar was open very quiet and the outside area was closed due to it being February and very cold. We didn't eat here but found it a perfect location to get to all the attractions. Subway station was closed and only a short walk to Times Square

This hotel is a short walk from Penn Station and Times Square, the location is great! The rooms are smaller; however this is New York City and should be expected. The bathrooms look to be newly renovated and the lighting was amazing to get ready in. Every worker we had encountered during our stay was super welcoming and always seemed to be in a good mood! We only stayed 2 nights and had a late flight on our last day. The hotel was able to hold our bags while we continued our day before heading home, we loved that!

Disappointing Experience at DoubleTree by Hilton Times Square South I recently stayed at this hotel, and for the $400 per night we paid, the service and experience were extremely disappointing. Here’s what went wrong: 1. Uncleaned Rooms: We returned to our room at 5:30 PM only to find it had not been cleaned. When we inquired, staff explained they clean until 7:30 PM due to lack of manpower. However, the room next to ours had already been cleaned earlier in the morning, making this explanation frustrating and inconsistent. 2. Missing Amenities: The hotel advertises two complimentary bottles of water daily, but for two days straight, we didn’t receive any. For the price we were paying, this basic amenity should not have been overlooked. 3. Poor Customer Service: When we brought up our concerns, the staff responded angrily, even attempting to blame us for the issues. There was no apology, no acknowledgment of their mistakes, and no offer of compensation. Instead, we were met with excuses and an unprofessional attitude. At $400 per night, we expected much better service and a more enjoyable stay. This experience fell far below the standards I associate with the Hilton brand. Until they address these issues and improve their customer service, I cannot recommend this hotel.
