The location was fantastic for our conference with the bridge across the road was amazing because we could get to every seminar. Now the service from front desk was amazing. We had an issue with our room and they had a new room ready that next hour. Breakfast with room service was fantastic. They gave great portions with plenty to share. They were always kind and helpful. There were some things that could improve. They tried to create a accessible room but with the shower curtain goes over the bench that created a puddle on the floor. It was also difficult to reach washclothes because I am short but would be impossible if you needed a wheelchair for mobility.

The hotel's prime location in Back Bay also means that guests have immediate access to a plethora of external dining choices, from upscale steakhouses and seafood restaurants to casual eateries and international cuisine, all within a short walk. The "bridge across the road" to the Hynes Convention Center is a significant convenience for conference attendees, highlighting the hotel's seamless integration with major event spaces.
A key feature of the Sheraton Boston Hotel is its exceptional connectivity and accessibility. The direct indoor access to the Prudential Center, Copley Place, and the Hynes Convention Center is a significant advantage, particularly during Boston's varied weather conditions. This connectivity not only provides unparalleled convenience for event attendees but also allows leisure travelers to explore extensive shopping and dining options without needing to venture outside.
The hotel's commitment to guest satisfaction is frequently highlighted in reviews. The staff, from the front desk to room service, consistently receives praise for being "amazing," "kind," "helpful," "sweet," and "thoughtful." One review specifically lauded a staff member, Julia, for going "above and beyond" to help with a room issue, demonstrating a strong customer-centric approach. This focus on service quality significantly enhances the overall guest experience, turning potential stressful moments into positive interactions.
The indoor/outdoor pool with its retractable roof is a unique and highly appreciated amenity, offering a resort-like feel within an urban setting. The recently updated rooms, with their modern decor, also contribute to a comfortable and pleasant stay, although some guests have noted potential issues with noise insulation in connecting rooms.
Accessibility is another important feature, with the hotel offering "accessible rooms" equipped with features like roll-in showers with grab bars and seats, accessible bathrooms with WC grab bars, and a lower sink. While one review noted that the shower curtain design in an accessible room created a puddle, and reaching washcloths might be difficult for some, the hotel generally strives to provide a comfortable experience for guests with reduced mobility.
As a Marriott Bonvoy property, the Sheraton Boston Hotel frequently offers various promotions and packages. Guests can often find "Summer Savings & Packages" or other seasonal deals, which may include discounted room rates or added value such as complimentary breakfast or parking. Mar 23, 2025 · Stephanie Frankum-LewisJulia - you are a blessing! She was so sweet and went above and beyond to help get a room due to an oversight on our end. She was so empathetic to my plight and was able to work something out with the manager. The room was beautiful but most important all the staff I encountered were just so nice, thoughtful and helpful during my stressful moment! Thank you for helping me out in a new and beautiful city! I hope to visit Marriott Copley again just for fun not for business!
Apr 15, 2025 · Holly FOur entire stay was amazing! Amy at the front desk was truly exceptional! She got us checked in early with a corner room because our room was still occupied. She made sure I got my Marriott bonvoy points too. She was very kind and truly made our stay here welcoming! She deserves a big shout out! And the cleaning lady even said good morning and thanking us for staying with them. Will definitely be back!
Mar 12, 2025 · luke maccarthyRoom was very nice, although the door was not wide enough to accommodate the hotel’s luggage carts. Bathroom was not senior friendly, lacking garbage bars in the tub/shower that was a high step to enter. Restaurant and bar was being renovated, so no review about that.
May 14, 2025 · Ralph CabanaThe room in lobby were newly renovated. Unfortunately the restaurant was not open, but the hotel is linked to the Prudential center mall where there are several food options available. Room service is available while the restaurant is closed, but we did not take advantage. The only reason I gave the hotel four stars is because we were placed in a room that had connecting doors to the room next-door. The connecting doors barely block out the sound from the room next-door. A woman sat near the door on her speakerphone and talked so loudly that I could hear every word she said for a good 2 to 3 hours. At about 11 PM I finally called down to the front desk. They offered to move us but the thought of packing everything up and moving to another room when we were about to go to bed was not worth it. They said that they would call security and let them know, but nothing happened. Finally at 11:45 PM I knocked on the door loudly. The person finally quieted down about 5 to 10 minutes later. Thankfully they had checked out the next night. We asked for an upper floor since it was our first time visiting Boston. The front desk was very accommodating and placed us second to last floor to the top.
