Apr 01, 2025 · EllieGreat hotel near Times Square. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was nice except for a curiously placed toilet paper holder. There was plenty of hot water. The staff is friendly and helpful. The proximity to Times Square is hard to beat and the fact that the price is quite reasonable makes this an ideal location to plan your NY trip around.
Feb 17, 2025 · Matt CrockerI had an extremely disappointing experience with the front desk staff at The Muse New York, specifically Tony. I called the hotel at 1:00 AM with a simple inquiry, and his attitude was shockingly unprofessional and rude. Instead of being helpful, he was dismissive and impatient, making me feel like I was inconveniencing him just by asking a question. For a hotel that charges premium prices, this is absolutely unacceptable. When you’re paying this much, you expect at least a basic level of customer service, if not exceptional hospitality. Instead, I was met with rudeness and zero effort to assist me. I highly recommend that management re-evaluate their staff’s customer service training because this kind of treatment does not align with a so-called luxury hotel experience. Would not stay here again based on this interaction alone.
Apr 04, 2025 · JI gave 3 stars because the hotel is beautiful and the customer service is great! However, my room was without heat for 3 of the 4 nights I stayed. I called down for maintenance the first night and the guy said everything was working fine. But only air came out when I turned on the heat. I turned it up all the way to 80 and my room still was cold. Mind you it’s 20 degree night here in NY. It was only so many blankets I could request. I called for maintenance to look at it again and the second guy agreed that the heat wasn’t working. He was able to open the heating unit and manually set the temperature to 80. He then offered space heaters. Throughout our entire stay the WiFi didn’t work so we barely had TV. Then when I went to checkout they tried to charge my card for an additional $469. I asked what the additional charge was for and they going to say amenity and resort fees. Mind you I paid a $300 deposit when I checked in. I have never paid a $469 amenity fee. Not to mention I had to wait almost an hour for valet to bring my car. The car garage is literally next door. I will NEVER come back to this hotel.
Feb 23, 2025 · Tynisha BarnesI love this hotel. If you are lucky enough to check in with Daniel, you will feel like you're home. He remembers your name, is so hospitable and friendly and kind and goes out of his way to make your stay incredible. After staying in so many hotels in NYC, Daniel and the rest of the team topped off this otherwise great experience. I wouldn't stay anywhere else.
