Had a wonderful evening at this hotel. Was able to book a date night last minute and everything was seamless. The decor and setting is charming and lovely. We had a little wait when checking in, but were gifted delicious macarons in appreciation and that absolutely elevated the vibe of the stay. The staff is extremely friendly and personable. Adjoined to an Irish pub that’s open late into the night, can’t beat that when coming back from a show. The food was delicious (grabbed a quick brunch at the bar as Harry Potter played on tv, always a win). Room was clean and comfortable. Our onlyyyy issue, and I stress the word only, was that the shower heads had a fair amount of that pink mold build up, but we mentioned to staff on the way out. Would absolutely stay here again :)

Mar 09, 2025 · Katelyn McCarthyThis is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. Located right off of Time Square, you could not be in a more prime location. Yet when you step inside, you feel pulled away from city life and into a warm, serene environment that feels like home—a home that also delivers the sleek ambience of a boutique hotel. The rooms are super clean and well-renovated with every possible amenity, the restaurant delivers unique and tasty food (with daily food voucher included in your stay!), and the staff could not be more personable, helpful, and just plain delightful. From Bernie the owner to Jennifer and Sebastian, we were met with warmth, engaging conversation, and hospitality. We feel like Merrion Row is NYC’s best-kept secret. We suggest trying a pint of the Kilkenny and the Irish breakfast.
Jan 18, 2025 · Jessica BeckerFantastically located boutique hotel just off times Square. There is not much of a lobby but a decent size restaurant and bar which I used several times. The room themselves are spacious. Maybe lacking storage but otherwise very comfortable. The service was excellent in the restaurant turn the front desk. The food at the bar both in breakfast and dinner was great and reasonably priced for midtown. Overall I had a great day.
Nov 05, 2024 · Sam AbermanGreat location if you are going to see Oh Mary! Or any of the other nearby shows. The bar/restaurant has outstanding service. The coffees are good and reasonably priced. The rooms are standard NYC small. The bathrooms have that “patina” aesthetic that just looks old and dirty to me. They are serious about check in/check out times. Do Not expect one minute outside of the officially allotted time.
Nov 21, 2024 · CapN 22Quick stop in to the bar for a drink. And I must say the service was fantastic. Very busy around the holidays but the place was immaculate. The staff was hustling. Lovely bar restaurant area. We will definitely return the next time we’re in town. And we’ll definitely consider staying.
