Aura Hotel Times Square

Excellent location. The service and room for sure is not 4 stars rated. The greeting was awkward, just asked me for credit card and passport; didn’t inform the room number or which level the gym at; basically no other conversation other than just asked for what they need. A bit unexpected but it wasn’t a big deal, I could read the room number myself on the envelope. Room was way smaller than pictures (understandable, but be mindful for someone who cares about it) Bed and bath tub had few hairs; and wasn’t dust properly, wasn’t expected but it wasn’t a big deal, as I usually do my own cleaning. Found out didn’t get my welcome drink vouchers, but the front desk just issued them without any problem. The last day on my stay, it’s raining heavily, was going to give my 7yo a warm shower, but no hot water for the whole night. Was going to call the front desk and check, the phone in the room isn’t even connected, I doubt it’d past a safety code, but, when I talked to the front desk; was told hot water would be back after 30 mins, and someone would come to fix the phone. Neither of them were fixed. Contacted the hotel via Expedia; they were willing to take any responsibility and refund partial of the stay. So, I am super disappointed to pay this amount of money for this kind of services. Review update after receiving the response the hotel: - the response from the hotel made it sound like they took some sort of responsibility; but they actually didn't. Expedia did give me credit back for future stays and reached out to the hotel to request a partial refund. That's the action taken by Expedia and not the hotel. The hotel is not willing and did not take on any responsibility on these issue.

Room was very nice and clean. Location great. Got a few messages about upgrading room, which I ended up doing because the option included what was supposed to be with Street View, but we weren't given one which was the whole reason for taking the upgrade. Also was weird having to pay for a refrigerator if we wanted one, and not sure what kind of hotel has an ice machine and no ice buckets, having to use a garage bag for ice. For the price of the room, feel like a fridge and an ice bucket is a small accommodation, but not these days I guess... Would stay again if price better and nothing else available since the room was nice. Staying in same area again in a few weeks, but trying elsewhere.

Me & my partner had an had an incredible stay at The Aura Hotel in Times Square. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with simple neutral color decor that added an elegant touch to the lobby. The check-in process was seamless, thanks to Barbara at the front desk—she was both personal and professional, making the check-in process seamless and easy. One of the standout perks was the complimentary drink tickets, which added a special touch to the overall hospitality. It’s those little details that make a stay memorable! Whether you’re visiting for business or pleasure, this hotel offers a fantastic experience in the heart of the city. Highly recommend!

Just wow! Staying at Aura Hotel Time Square was AWESOME!! I stayed at this hotel during New York Fashion Week and had an amazing time. The staff had made me feel home and welcome. The Executive King room was super clean and spacious. The location? Just step outside the hotel walk one or two minutes to the left and you're in the middle of Time Square! I can't wait to stay there again in September and highly recommend booking your room at Aura Hotel Time Square!!

Great hotel! Newly renovated so everything is fresh. The room was not too big but spacious enough for for us. Very comfy mattress. Team is very responsive and helpful to anything you need. They held our bags for no fee after we checked out and offered to call a taxi to the airport. Gym had all new pelaton equipment! Very close to everything midtown!
