This was my first time at this location, staying for work, and it’s conveniently located near my New York office. Overall, I think it’s a great hotel for business travelers—it has all the basics you’d need. The rooms are nice and clean, and my bathroom, at least, felt more modern with an updated walk-in shower. The lobby isn’t very large, and when I arrived, there was only one person at the check-in desk, but that wasn’t an issue since it wasn’t a busy time. Would I stay here again for work? Yeah, I think so. Just don’t expect extras like bottled water in the room or lotion in the bathroom—you can probably request them, but they’re not standard. It’s more of a no-frills, business-focused hotel, so if you need those little comforts, be sure to bring your own.

No dresser to speak of in a single king, just a couple drawers and a very small closet so we had to get creative. But everything was worth it for the location!! It's hard to beat how easy the walk is to Penn Station and other subway stops. Staff was very friendly and the gentleman went above and beyond at the cafe when we accidentally showed up after it closed - he made our drink anyway when he absolutely didn't have to. What a lovely man! Special shoutout to the late night front desk worker who seemed to work almost every day between 1/22-1/28. You were so kind! Thank you for your help! Room was very quiet, no issues with hearing neighbors unless they were in the hallway. Neat view if you're on a high enough floor!
Feb 01, 2025 · Crystal L.Only complaint: if you have an adjoining door in your room, you will hear EVERYTHING from the adjoining room. And our neighbors partied til 2 am. But the front desk was very helpful and got us a new room the next day. Service was great, room was comfortable and spacious, and the location is great. There are 4 subway stations within a couple blocks, and Madison Square Garden and Korea Town are within a couple blocks

The adage that a company is only as good as its people, this location makes Marriott shine. We took some time to get to know some of the staff, and from check-in with Flora, to other team members Julio, Jean, Juan, and Judy in housekeeping, every single team member met us with a gracious and positive attitude. Not coincidentally in my opinion, this was also emblematic of the management style of Mr. Wood who welcomed us warmly at the hotel. Thanks to the entire team here, we will definitely be back!
Jan 08, 2025 · Mike LeoneI had a 3 night stay at the hotel. Prices ranged from USD 700-800 a night. For those prices I expected good service, good rooms and decent breakfast. The location is the only positive part of it. Rooms were not properly insulated so one could hear the neighbors parting next door, there was no breakfast, no water in the room, hair blower didn’t really work. The place was a dump. Will never stay there again.
