Honestly the staff here is remarkable. I believe her name is Gracie or Grace , has helped me many times and she is such a gem. On my last trip to America I stayed here about once a month for a five month duration. There are of course small improvements to be made, would be great to have usb outlets next to the bed or for the bathroom grouting to be redone, or even small drinks// snacks or a mini bar situation, or even a bar /restaurant in the hotel would be great but those are really second thoughts. The hotel is always clean, the staff is always helpful, always available, I've never had to worry about safety or my bags being secured, the location you truly cannot beat for the price. I always recommend this place and will definitely be returning next trip. Thank you again!

Mar 25, 2025 · nikole evansRoom was very nice and spacious. However, the heater did not work and it was extremely cold throughout the night. It is actually warmer if you turn the heater/AC off. I set it to 81º but it was still colder than just turning off the room's heating system.
Mar 09, 2025 · Alexander De LeonThe shower seemed to be designed by someone who despises human comfort: a weak trickle of lukewarm water that randomly switched between scalding hot and arctic cold. Taking a shower here felt less like hygiene and more like a survival challenge. Breakfast was supposedly included, but apparently, they had “run out of coffee,” which somehow meant there was absolutely nothing else to eat. Since when does breakfast cease to exist without coffee? Have bread and eggs been legally banned unless caffeine is present? And then there was the bed… oh, the bed. If sleeping on a wooden plank with nails was considered a premium experience, then this hotel would be five-star luxury. I spent the night battling the mattress springs, which seemed determined to stab me in the back like a medieval torture device. To top it all off, at checkout, I was hit with an extra $50 charge for no apparent reason. When I asked why, I got the most vague and infuriating answer: “Adjustment fee.” If you’re considering staying here, do yourself a favor: sleep in your car, a park, or even a train station bench. Any of those would be more comfortable, cheaper, and far less infuriating than this place.
Feb 12, 2025 · Mariana abbastante⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Staying at Hotel Hayden was a really lovely experience! The rooms are very spacious, with big, comfortable beds and thoughtful touches like daily cleaning services, a coffee machine with fancy coffee options, and luxurious amenities like slippers and a big robe in the bathroom. The towels are replaced every day, which was a nice touch. The hotel itself is quite small, so it never felt too busy or crowded, which I really appreciated. While there weren’t any views from my window (and I don’t think this is the place to stay if you’re after views), the location more than made up for it. It’s very central, close to Penn Station, Macy’s, and other great spots, with a bus stop just up the road for easy transport. Breakfast is included, but it’s more of a light breakfast with pastries, scones, fruits, and coffee. For me, it was perfect, but if you’re expecting a big full breakfast, it’s worth keeping in mind. As someone who doesn’t drink coffee, I would have loved a juice option, but overall, it was still great. The restaurant looked very stylish, and the staff were incredibly friendly and professional. They helped me with everything I needed, from resetting my air conditioning to organising transport to the airport. I stayed for a week and truly enjoyed my time there. A big thank you to the wonderful team for making my stay so pleasant!
Nov 23, 2024 · Jess SAThe location is hidden but accessible. They do not have a rooftop bar/restaurant at the moment. That is separate from the chain and not under their control. Having local food/spirits will greatly help your experience. The staff are VERY ATTENTIVE and really want your stay to be the best and without effort. The age on some of the fixtures shows (A/C units, mini-fridge, shower controls and some commodes) could use a nice walk-through update. This is my second time here, my first time had a door with a loose hinge, they did fix it after two attempts. The doors are nice and heavy and secure and I felt very safe. Also, I consider this a bonus, you have to have your room key to even use the elevator. No strangers walking up to your room! Every day returning to my room was immaculate and fresh! They cut no corners here and it shows. That's why I returned. My 2nd trip, had minor difficulties with the room but we was able to change out effortlessly and I'm doing GREAT! I'm coming back! BONUS : Close to good food all around in 2 blocks! There is a Walmart and Subway entrance on same street and block.
