Overall great location (close to various subways lines within 5-10 min walk). Also close to Penn station (connect to Newark airport). Rooms were comfortable and clean. Beds were too soft but given that not many hotels offer 2 queen beds, this was a good choice at a good price. Only 2 elevators - so waits could be long.

Amazing location, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable, but on par for the reasonable price. A few outlets and the coffee maker not working was a little annoying but not a huge isssue. Only big issue is there are two elevators and no service elevator so wait times can be long.

Not a very good experience. We went on a family trip in October. The second day, my son’s stuffed animal was taken from our room while we were out and about. As I cannot believe it’s been stolen in our room, my guess is that it’s been sent to cleaning with the sheets and the comforter because they are replaced EVERY SINGLE DAY which is totally insane. Luckily, we hadn’t left more valuable personal belongings on the beds, although what we’ve lost was emotionally important for our kid. Nobody from the cleaning team or the front desk seemed to care and nobody helped much to locate it. I sent several emails to the management and never received any answer. About the hotel: rooms are fine but a bit small, location in the center of Chelsea is convenient but comes with disadvantages: it’s very noisy. Noise comes from the inside too: our room was close to the elevators which are squeaking all night long. Additionally, you can hear doors slamming from everywhere on the floor. All-in all, value for money is average, but you have to lower your expectations.

Felt it was necessary to share my experience because the average reviews do not reflect where this hotel should be rated. My top issue was safety and security. I stay in hotels over 50 nights a year haven’t been to a hotel in a major city that doesn’t require key access for guest room floors. In addition, the front desk isn’t obviously attended over night, so anyone can just walk in as they please. I travel solo and find this deeply uncomfortable. At all hours (I arrived late from a delayed flight) there are people lingering in the lobby which reeks of smoke. The restaurant isn’t open and the lobby is small. Not sure why one would need to be loitering there. The rooms are incredibly worn down. It’s clear they are surface cleaned but hard not to be grossed out by the severe carpet stains and old grime in corners. The toilet was running when I arrived and didn’t stop during my entire stay - didn’t feel the need to ask them to fix it. Housekeeping would have been aware of it while servicing the room and didn’t bother to fix it before I arrived. TL;DR: Lacks industry standard safety measures, rooms are gross, I’ll never come back.

One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I’m pretty low maintenance when it comes to staying in hotels - we got to the room and there were no bath towels. We called down to the reception and they said they refused to bring us anything because housekeeping had left for the night. The front desk reception did not care at all and frankly were downright rude the rest of our stay. They told us over the phone “I don’t actually care.” Truly the most disrespectful experience I’ve ever had with the front desk. If you want basic amenities such as towels and such, I’d recommend staying somewhere else!
