We had a lovely stay at the Kimpton Hotel Eventi. We stayed one night for a little Valentines staycation and it was so great. The atmosphere is very classy without feeling pompous. The front desk is very friendly and helpful. There's free wine served between 5-6pm. There's a bar and restaurant connected to the lobby and plenty to do in the area. The room itself is very nice and modern. Very spacious and clean. The TV is controlled by a tablet which also had information about the hotel and amenities. The only interesting note is that the entire hotel has a smokey campfire scent which is lovely to smell as I love camping and it wasn't too strong, but it did leave the scent in my hair and a little on our clothes. Otherwise, the overall stay was absolutely wonderful and I'd definitely recommend this hotel to others!

Feb 18, 2025 · Cheyenne TangSecond stay here, and everything was as expected. Small but well appointed room, nice bathroom, and good service. The gym has enough equipment for a varied workout. The restaurant/bar are nicely decorated and a great place to hang out. There was a free happy hour in the bar every evening, but the wine could have used a little upgrade in my humble opinion.
Mar 09, 2025 · Chris RooksWe recently stayed at the Kimpton Hotel Eventi in Chelsea, and it was such a pleasant experience! A few months ago, we stayed at the Graduate Hotel on Wilson Island, which had some appealing features but unfortunately lacked professionalism and courtesy—so we were thrilled to find that the Kimpton offered the complete opposite. The hotel's location was fantastic, and the customer service was top-notch. From the moment we arrived, the staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. They really went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The food at the hotel was also a standout—delicious and satisfying! The rooms were spotless and comfortable, which made it easy to unwind after a day of exploring the city. Overall, our stay at Kimpton Hotel Eventi excited us to return to NYC soon. It was a great experience, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic place to stay in Chelsea!
Dec 30, 2024 · Debbie KennySummary: - Avoid at all costs. - DO NOT valet your car — they will leave it unlocked w the keys inside (for days) and then will lose your keys - Expect to wait 90min+ to get your car from valet - Staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. Will give you all the excuses and will hang up on you when trying to speak to someone of authority. Details: Please avoid this hotel at all costs if you are in search of any modicum of professionalism, courtesy, or hospitality. I was instructed to call for my car from valet 30 min ahead of the time I needed my car. 1 hour later, I asked the desk again, during which time they accused me of checking it too late and “they must have taken the car back” after I was sitting directly in front of the staffed front desk waiting the entire time. Over 1.5hrs later, the car was brought up. The valet would not let me into my car stating that he needed a signature from the doorman and instead of going in to ask for a doorman despite trying to tell him there wasn’t one on a Sunday night (which the front desk told me earlier), he had me go back inside to ask someone to accompany me back to claim my car. I then, admittedly, drove off frustrated and when I returned home to PA, the keys were nowhere to be found. I called the desk who contacted the garage and informed me that the garage team was also unaware of the location of my keys. Obviously extremely frustrated, I demanded to speak w the night manager’s supervisor and to inquire the whereabouts of my keys from the valet staff with whom I left my keys, to which I heard MANY excuses, to include faulting the garage and it is simply one the hotel “partners with so not the hotel’s responsibility.” AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Mar 24, 2025 · Kristine SoSpacious room, great service, and a great lobby and restaurants. Ice machine is located on one floor, but I found it strange there wasn't an ice bucket provided in the room. Also, not a fan of the use of sliding barn doors for bathrooms, though I understand the space they save. We didn't indulge in the bar drinks and snacks inside the cooler/fridge, but this appliance also didn't appear to be working to keep those items cold. Overall a good experience, would recommend for the space alone.
