Don’t overlook this hotel. It is nearish to the subway and a good location overall. The breakfast was adequate. There are only 6 rooms per floor and 35 stories. So, sometimes you have to wait a bit for the elevator. No biggie. Staff was friendly. Room was on the smaller side but again you are in NYC so you should expect that. Good value and great stay.

This is a hotel frequented by travelers from different countries. It’s fun to be a part of the excitement but for a US native, it’s “different”. The rooms need some attention, just a lot of little things that need to be fixed. The location was great and like most New Yorkers, it’s best to live outside of your room. Simple, and value are mantras of this hotel. I think I may be a little more bougie than I expected. If I had may lady with me, I would have changed hotels but for a simple, no frills room, it was ok. Probably would lot return but the price was better than most.

I will start off by saying the staff at this hotel are fantastic - service was great. And the rooms and hotel seem clean - no concerns there. It is very central to everything you want to do. The complementary breakfast, coffee, water bottles, and chips are lovely as well. But before you stay here just know a few things: - This is not a great area, you may see drugs use and may not feel comfortable walking here at night. - The double beds are very small and the mattresses are not comfortable and felt slanted/uneven. - Very small rooms, while probably typical for NYC, we struggled with three people in one room. Decor is dated and rough looking. - Issues with heating system - did not work in our room. - This hotel has ongoing elevator issues. Often down to one elevator or a sign that says no more than 8 people. The elevator stalled while we were there and they had to pry it open. We took the stairs a few times - I recommend getting a floor on a lower level.

Stayed here between Christmas and New Year’s so paid a premium as expected. Rooms were spacious (by NY standards), clean and staff was great. Only issue I had was the elevator in the morning. 30 something floor hotel with two elevators not great when everyone is trying to leave in the morning. Most other times the elevators were fine. So I recommend a low floor so taking the stairs can be an option.

Stayed at this hotel for a week. It is a very clean and well maintained hotel. The location is close to Times Square, Bryant Park, Broadway, and many good restaurants. Although comfortable the beds are a little soft. Bathroom is refurbished and the shower is great. Actually, this is a solid 3 star hotel. But I gave it 4 stars because of the very friendly and pleasant staff. Everybody from the front desk, kitchen staff, maintenance people and house keeping were the friendliest I’ve encountered in any of the many hotels I’ve stayed at. There is a breakfast buffet which is good and bottled water available at the front desk all day. I had a very pleasant stay at this well located hotel. The price is reasonable and I would recommend this hotel.
