Distrikt Hotel New York City, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

Recently stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed it. It's placed between 2 other hotels and is quite narrow so a little unusual layout but functional. Staff were efficient, helpful and friendly. I used the $29 to offset a few beers at the bar. My checkout bill included $4 daily NYC tax I wasnt aware of but that didnt trouble me. Room and bathroom were a good size and clean. Location was excellent, few minutes walk to local subway and within area of plenty of attractions. I travelled from Newark airport to Penn Station and walked to the hotel fine. Recommended for the price.

Brilliant hotel just a few minutes away from Times Square. Also right beside the Port Authority bus terminal, which is great if getting the bus to Newark. It is however very quiet (for NYC standards). Staff are so friendly and helpful. They were genuinely brilliant and make the hotel that extra bit great. They even encouraged us to "stay forever" however unfortunately all the good things eventually come to an end! The rooms are spacious, with comfy beds but also big bathrooms. The rooms are clean and modern. Some rooms have great views with the Empire state building visible. The resort fee is $29 but you can use it at the hotel breakfast/bar (basically a credit), which is a good concept. It was our first time staying at the Distrikt hotel but we will definitely be back!

The Distrikt Hotel was an unexpected pleasure. It's conveniently located near Times Square. The room I had was nicely appointed and a good size for a New York hotel. Clean and modern. The bathroom had a large shower too! Staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

3 night stay at the Distrikt hotel (travelling from UK). this hotel is perfectly located a 5min walk away from times square... That distance ensures that the street noise doesn't affect the quality of sleep. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Rooms are small (this is pretty standard for NYC) but have everything you need. There are no tea/coffee facilities in the rooms but these can be accessed in the bar downstairs. Bathroom/shower is a great size. Bar area serves breakfast in the mornings (reasonable selection and price) and remains open for drinks throughout the day until 11pm. Would definitely book again!

Staff were wonderful; lobby as always smelled fantastic Location great. Rooms were decent size for NYC and very clean. Bar, nice space to have drink or snack after walking around the city. Only complaint, is the hotel sign is hidden due to all the construction outside. Even with navigation we dove by twice without seeing it. So…. Here’s a tip….look for Double Tree sign (which is easy to spot) and the hotel is adjacent to the left
