If you want to have a bad experience during your trip in New York this is your hotel, definitely. The persons at the front desk are everything but nice. They don't care if you are not happy with the service, it's your problem. You need to insist on your real needs and on the deficiencies of the service offered and even then, they may not react. The request for prices at breakfast varies in a question of minutes depending on who you ask to. They offer a price for a taxi service and when they confirm it, a different -higher price- appears. Not serious at all, honestly. Not to talk about the room service and cleaning service. Most of the days they simply not arrange at all the room. AT ALL¡ No new towels, no bed arranging, no trash collection, no bath foam or shampoo to take a shower. Nothing¡ Moreover if yo have the bad chance to have a room below floor 15, you will suffer from the noise of the street, difficult to have a rest. The rooms have little space to take your clothes out of the luggage (tiny wardrobe), and even to leave the luggage in the room. The hotel is in a perfect location and the beds are confortable, but the personal attention should improve A LOT.

Aliz Hotel Times Square Introduce

Looking for a hotel in the Times Square area? Aliz Hotel Times Square, located at 310 W 40th St, is part of the 'Hotels Near Of Me' category. Recent guest reviews present a dichotomy of experiences, with some praising its location and others citing significant issues with service and amenities. Local users should carefully consider these perspectives.

One guest strongly advises against staying at Aliz Hotel Times Square if you wish to avoid a bad experience in New York. They found the front desk staff to be unfriendly and unhelpful, reportedly indifferent to guest dissatisfaction and slow to react even when service deficiencies were pointed out. This reviewer also noted inconsistencies in breakfast pricing depending on who was asked and unreliable taxi service pricing, where a confirmed price was later increased. A major complaint was the frequent lack of room service and cleaning, with days passing without new towels, bed arrangement, trash collection, or replenishment of basic toiletries like bath foam and shampoo. Furthermore, they cautioned that rooms below the 15th floor suffer from significant street noise, making rest difficult. The rooms were also described as having limited space for unpacking and storing luggage. While this guest acknowledged the hotel's perfect location and comfortable beds, they concluded that the personal attention needs considerable improvement.

Conversely, another guest found Aliz Hotel to be amazing, with a clean and well-maintained room featuring a huge and comfortable bed. They were particularly impressed by the stunning views from their room towards Hudson Yards, even spotting the Statue of Liberty in the distance. The hotel's location was highlighted for its exceptional convenience, with the subway entrance on the corner and just a short walk to Times Square and Broadway. While some reviews mentioned issues with the lifts, this guest did not find it to be a significant problem, experiencing minimal wait times. They praised the friendly staff for making their trip extra special and stated they would definitely stay at the hotel again.

This Hotel was amazing, the room was clean and well maintained, the bed was huge and comfortable, the view from our room was stunning looking over towards Hudson Yards you could even see liberty in the distance. The entrance to the subway is on the corner of the block and the walk to Time Square and Broadway takes minutes. People in the reviews complain about the lifts but this didn't really affect us and if we was waiting the wait was minimal. I would definitely stay again as the Hotel and friendly staff definitely made our trip that extra bit special.

I stayed here coming up to a month ago and can't complain about my stay with the hotel. However, I am still yet to receive my refund for the deposit despite emailing a couple time and still no response. I was told that it would take 3 -23 days for this to be back in my account and it has been over 23 days now and still yet to receive my money back. Very quick to take the money but not so bothered about returning it. I would massively appreciate a response from the hotel. I posted the above response over a week ago, still yet to be contacted by the hotel or receive my deposit back. It is an absolute joke, customer service skills of a toddler

My partner and I recently stayed here for 5 nights and we can't complain about our stay. The hotel is in an ideal location and very close to the subway. We had food + cocktails in the bar one evening and everything we ordered was delicious. The only complaint we do have is regarding our safety deposit return. We have only been partially refunded for some reason and haven't received the full $150 we initially paid. I have emailed 3 times and have yet to receive a response. I have also spoken to 2 separate people on reception but to no avail. The first person asked me to call back in a couple of days if the full amount hadn't been returned to my account. I called back a couple of days later as the money still hadn't been returned. The second person put me on hold whilst they tried to find my bill. I was on hold for half an hour and then the phone cut out on me. I tried ringing back straight away and the lady answered again, asking if she could put me on a brief hold. I tried to quickly explain that I'd just been on hold for 30 minutes before the phone cut out on me and the lady on reception proceeded to tell me "I'm on my own here" before placing me on hold again. I was on hold for 20 minutes but unfortunately due to my phone's data plan, my phone cut out and I am no longer allowed to make any more phone calls to the US. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could respond to my emails.

Had a wonderful time staying at Aliz Hotel. Welcomed with a drink when we arrived, and they even gave us coupons to the restaurant on site. We ended up having dinner there which was wonderful. I also had breakfast at the hotel as well which I enjoyed and found filling. Location was very central to everywhere I wanted to go and close to the subway which increased accessibility.
