Rooms were a great price! We felt safe and the rooms were very clean. Excellent location within walking distance of grand central station and the ability to take the subway anywhere without having to do a ton of connections. We had to ask 3 times for toilet paper when we ran out, responding to guests requests could use some improvement.
Looking for a well-located and reasonably priced boutique hotel in Midtown East? Hotel Boutique at Grand Central, situated at 128 E 45th St, is a noteworthy option in the 'Hotels Near Of Me' category. Based on recent guest reviews, this hotel offers clean and well-designed rooms, a friendly staff, and a fantastic location near Grand Central Terminal, though some aspects of service responsiveness could be improved. Travelers from Taiwan should consider these points.

Another reviewer commented on the typical size of New York City hotel rooms, noting that they are often "everything in 'miniature.'" The provided reviews do not contain information about other services such as on-site dining beyond the coffee bar, fitness facilities, or business centers. Similarly, there is no information about specific promotional offers available at the time of these stays.
In conclusion, Hotel Boutique at Grand Central offers travelers from Taiwan a well-priced, clean, and conveniently located option near a major transportation hub. The friendly staff and the penthouse coffee lounge with its views and free coffee are significant positives. However, potential guests should be aware that room sizes are typical for New York City and that responsiveness to specific in-room requests might occasionally be slower than desired. Overall, it appears to be a solid choice for those prioritizing location, cleanliness, and value.

Mar 25, 2025 · Vincent NavaNew York City hotels are always everything in "miniature," as the expense of it all is always matched by everything being so teeny-tiny. Hotel Boutique's rooms were not huge, but what struck me is how well-designed they were vs. other hotels I have stayed at. We had enough room. It was clean, and the staff was very friendly. Coffee bar / lounge in the Penthouse was excellent with great views and excellent free coffee. I would and will definitely stay here again. Location was also great; near Grand Central but without being in the thick of it at Times Square.
Dec 29, 2024 · Jason McDonaldThis hotel experience was somewhat rough. Firstly, the hotel is actually the Club Quarters Grand Central -- don't be confused by the name. Secondly, the expectation is that you check yourself in, create your own room key, etc. at the kiosks in the lobby. I actually don't mind this as it cuts down on wait times, but I know some people will dislike it. It's also a bit frustrating because the property charges the same as others in the area without the same level of service. That said, the few employees I did run into were courteous and helpful. Thirdly, some positives: While the room is SUPER small (to be expected), the bed was decently comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was great. There's a mini fridge, which isn't the standard in NYC. Lastly, I stayed for three nights -- not once did housekeeping check in. I ran out of toilet paper by the end, and nearly ran out of tissues. I know some hotels have modified their cleaning services post-COVID, which I totally get, but the fact that no one checked in over the course of four days and three nights was incredibly frustrating. Overall, I don't know that I'd repeat my stay here. It was 20+ minutes away from the theater district (the reason I was staying) and only convenient if your main destination was Grand Central. Again, the rooms themselves were perfectly fine and the staff was nice -- you can just find similar hotels with a more personalized experience in a similar price range.
Dec 17, 2024 · Cassie BauschI've stayed here several times for work and couldn't have asked for a better hotel! It's a boutique hotel so it's not very large but don't let it's size fool you. The staff are wonderful and so professional! The rooms are clean and they have a lot of options for different room sizes. The location is ideal and in walking distance to places like Grand Central Station and the UN. I always recommend this hotel to anyone who asks for suggestions for a great place to stay while visiting the city!
Feb 14, 2025 · Sydney DFirst time to this hotel. The staff was great. For me the only minus was the size of the room. It was small. The bed was comfortable and overall the room was nice. Very quiet. The other minus was no fan in the bathroom. Bring spray. A big plus is the top floor roof top area. Very nice and quiet with a great coffee machine, wish they served breakfast.
