After my 3-day stay here a couple weeks ago, however, I am happy to report that they are most definitely legit! They put my in the Bunkhouse room and it was clean, quiet, spacious, and well-appointed, with everything (and more) that I needed for my stay. Location is great, as are the people at the front desk. This is now my hotel of choice for future trips.

The financial district is great as it's outside the really busy area but still an easy subway ride away from New York centre.
Feb 09, 2025 · David StevensFirst time to NYC. We picked placemakr because of its location and the size of the room. We booked the premium 2 bedroom sky. Each room has a bathroom, spacious living room with a sofa bed. Gorgeous view since we’re on the 27 floor. All the floors have this cute chill vibes nook to hang out. It has an outdoor area to grill. Wish it would have a fire pit out side for those cold nights. 24/7 laundry/game room. Which sold me even more. The TV is tricky. Love the decor and design the put into this place. Around the neighborhood very clean, very quite not alot of activity happening, like if you would be staying in time square. I would definitely be booking again

Stayed here for 5 days as a business traveler and the 1st few days were in a lower floor next to an alley as well as the hotel/condo laundry and communal kitchen, which can get noisy morning and night. I would ask for higher floors especially if you need a good night sleep.
