This is the ideal boutique hotel. The rooms are very small, but they've used the space perfectly - in our room there were cubbies under the bed that could fit a small carry on bag. It must be difficult to clean the loft and corner bed, but it was all cleaned perfectly for our stay. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the location is perfect, with reasonably priced parking and a short walk to great coffee, restaurants, and a bookstore. I'd recommend it to anyone who is traveling light and doesn't need a lot of floor space.

Nov 29, 2024 · Elizabeth SullivanBeautiful boutique hotel. Friendly engaging staff. Complimentary snacks in the room and helpful suggestion book for local attractions in the lobby. Excellent location in town, 7 min drive/Uber to the heart of Salem. Parking available behind the building for only $6/day. Discounts available at local coffee shops/restaurants if you mention you’re staying at the Cabot Lodge. Perfect for couples. Highly recommend staying here, ditch the big corporate hotels that all feel the same cookie cutter rooms and give this local gem a shot.

Jan 13, 2025 · Joana BastosWe spent one night here and the service was absolutely fantastic. It is a very short trip into Salem, and the rooms are small but clean. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The restaurant down the street recommended at check in for lunch was excellent. I left a good pair of earrings and necklace in the room, and they called me to check to see if we had left anything. Definitely recommend.
