AC Hotel New York Times Square

The hotel is in a good location near Times Square, but without the noise, crowd, or bright lights. I thought it was good value for the room and location. There was no view to speak of in my room, but I wasn't there for the view. There was, however, a significant cleaning issue. When I entered the room, I saw three wads to tissue paper on the desk. I informed guest services, who said this was left by the cleaning crew rather by the prior guest (communications was via text so I am not sure how they were able to make that assurance). One of these tissue papers stuck to the latex glove when I cleaned it off. This obviously made me question the cleanliness of the desk. Other than this issue, everything else seemed fine.

This hotel has a great atmosphere and look! It is very clean and full of amenities. It has both a rooftop bar and a trendy restaurant inside. The view from your hotel room window isn’t the best, but you can’t beat the location of the hotel for the price. Ten minute walk from theatre district. 7 minute walk from Times Square. For breakfast there is the hotel restaurant, but we went with the tasty bagel shop next door and got some Starbucks from across the street. Loved this stay!

Such a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were so clean, great amenities and perfectly located! I have to mention some staff that just added to making this such a phenomenal and bespoke experience. Ricardo is just exceptional. His guest service skills are outstanding. Every time I saw someone exiting the lift he made such an effort to offer a friendly greeting and wonderful smile. He has a wealth of knowledge on the area and made the best recommendations for excursions! Unfortunately I do not have the names of the 2 gentlemen on night shift at the reception, but they were fantastic! Friendly and welcoming with fantastic hospitality skills. They also offered us great ideas and recommendations for things to do. You are truly blessed to have such fantastic staff on hand! A big big shout out to them.

New favorite place to stay in NYC. Exceptional customer service. We arrived early and they held our bags. Sasha checked us in and immediately offered us late checkout. Joshua delivered our luggage with care and assisted with arranging transport to the airport at the end of our stay. Clean rooms and prompt delivery of towels when we needed more. Only thing I didn’t love was the sliding door to the bathroom it was very loud and would vibrate when we tried to close. Not a deterrent for a future, stay but not the best for privacy or being quiet in the night. All in all great stay and we will definitely be back.

While planning our family trip to NYC we researched Mariott properties in the Times Square area. We were bringing my Mom for her first NYC experience so wanted a property that was centrally located, but not directly in the middle of Times Square noise/crowds. The AC Hotel had excellent reviews and matched what we were looking for, so we decided to book. WOW, what a great decision. The hotel staff is friendly, professional and helpful. From the moment you enter the property you are treated as a VIP. Have a question about the local area, looking for a recommendation or need to schedule transportation; no problem, they were eager to assist. The property is an easy 10-15 minute walk to so many wonderful NYC must sees. If you choose to eat at the property or just relax for a nice night “in”, the attached restaurant and roof top bar are amazing. I highly recommend this property for anyone wanting to stay in the Times Square area. Choosing the right property is critical to the success of a family trip, AC Hotel - Times Square delivered in a HUGE way.
